Hoy me llamaron para otra entrevista

En mayo había aplicado para un laburo en el gobierno. La recepción de CV habí­a terminado el 12 de ese mes. Ayer, en realidad, me llamaron para una entrevista. Después les cuento que pasó, pero para adelantarles les dejo el texto de la búsqueda:

competitive process: Statistics Canada

SALARY: $38,206 to $41,240 (CR-04)

LANGUAGE: Various language requirements and/or profiles

WHO CAN APPLY: Persons residing or employed in Eastern Ontario or
Western Quebec, who have a home or business postal code beginning
with: J0V to J0X, J8G, J8H, J8L to J8Z, J9A to J9L, K0A to K0K, K1 to
K8 and K9A.

CHALLENGE: Duties:
Review and edit data on investment or prices for duplications,
omissions, errors, time frames, etc., code and classify as required.
Extract, compile and reconcile investment or prices data to create a
statistical record of investment or prices activity.
Verify and approve the accuracy of the information provided, resolve
inconsistencies, impute data and enter into an interactive processing
system.
Conduct pre-analysis of information to ensure compiled data meets
established data quality guidelines.
Conduct research and analysis on internal and external investment or
prices data through computer searches and system testing for new
edits.
Maintain indexes of available data, reports, and publications.
Produce and verify tables, statistical tabulations, reports, files,
tapes and disks from data collected on investment or prices for
dissemination to the data users.
Perform mathematical and statistical calculations (averages, ratios,
percentages, etc.), calculate or impute missing variables to complete
and process data provided by respondents.
Perform confidentiality verifications on survey data.

EDUCATION: Secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of
education, training and/or experience.

EXPERIENCE:
– Experience in performing at least four (4) of the following
functions on survey or administrative data for the purposes of
producing statistical information: collection, data capture,
editing, coding, correcting, compiling.
– Experience in dealing with clients by telephone.
– Experience in using computer office automation software (Microsoft
Word, Excel, Access, etc.).
